Abstract

This article aims to analyze theologically and pedagogically the role of intercultural Christian education in shaping the critical competencies of students, so that Christ's communication strategies can be developed contextually without losing theological integrity. This research uses a qualitative approach with a theological-intercultural study design through a literature study of Christian educational theological literature, contextual hermeneutics, and intercultural cultural and societal studies. The analysis is carried out in a critical-reflective manner by viewing the socio-cultural context as a theological locus and pedagogical space. The results of the study show that critical analysis skills are an essential theological and pedagogical competence in intercultural Christian education. This competency allows dialogue of faith and culture to take place in an empathetic, reflective, and transformative manner, as exemplified in Christ's communication strategies rooted in incarnation, relationships, and empathy.
